St. Jacobiparochie is an important place for pilgrims from North Frisia on their road to Santiago de Compostela. This historic building is a hall church with Doric column portico and pediment. The clock tower, belfry, with a square base has a circular lantern cupola with eight columns. This church is the beginning of the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela for people from northern Netherlands.
