- Villa Jongerius was built by the entrepeneur Jan Jongerius in the thirties of the last century. Anno 2013 the villa tells us the story of the family that used to live in it. The rooms of the villa are named after family members. You will find a resemblance of the characters of these family members in the decoration of the rooms. The villa was built in 1938 and used to be owned by the Jongerius family (owners of a steel construction firm). It has been restored with respect of the historic elements. It is now a conference center. It is also a national monument in the Netherlands.
