Cover photo info
- Photo title: Sheep in Scotland
- Author: Chriskiely
- Cover photo description:
- Sheep, as you know, live in large flocks and tend to be rather similar in appearance, so we sheep breeders use marking spray on our sheep, for example to easily be able to identify one which has a problem or has been treated or that we want to keep an eye on or want to find back later for whatever reason. I, like most sheep breeders, have several different colours that I use to make different types of marks for different purposes. I personally for example use a red dot on the neck for negative things, like sheep with foot rot or that are to be culled or kept closed up. I use a green dot for positive things, like sheep that have been drenched or are in lamb.
