Cover photo info
- Photo title: 117-119 Liberty Street Queen Anne Classic Revival.
- Author: Peachpappa
- Cover photo description:
- One of the earliest, middle class suburbs in San Francisco is Liberty Hill. Built in the 19th century, this little neighborhood escaped the devastating earthquake and fire of 1906 that destroyed most of the rest of the city. Because it still contains intact period architecture of the period, it was designated an historic district. Named for the English queen Anne who reigned from 1702-1714, this style is properly known as Queen Anne Revival. This home was built in 1896.
