Cover photo info
- Photo title: Chiang Rai White Temple
- Author: Ktree
- Cover photo description:
- Baimiao was built in 1997. The real name is Bailong Temple, also known as Longkun Temple, Lingguang Temple and Qilongkun. It was designed and built by famous Thai designer Chakermchai Kosipipat.  From a distance, the temple seems to have been built with porcelain. When you approach it, you will find that this illusion is caused by white paint and glass sequins.  The white temple is made of plain white, with no gold in it, symbolizing the purity of the Buddha; the silver mirror is striped, which means that the wisdom of the Buddha shines on the whole universe. The murals in the temple, in addition to the traditional Buddhist theme, add many modern elements.
