  • Here was the old dock for ore unloading and separation. The loaded mine wagons surfaced pulled by a steel rope connected to a fix steam engine, they would then continue through a ramp until the top of the structure of the dock to be unloaded. The ore, stored in different compartments called "toldas" was after put into train wagons and taken to the Crushing Centre of Moitinha or to the sulfur factories in Achada do Gamo or even directly to the river dock in Pomarão for expedition.
