  • Dendrobium bellatulum is an epiphytic orchid species native to Southeast Asia. It is commonly known as the fairy orchid. D. bellatulum grows as a compact pseudobulbous plant with thin hanging stems. The pseudobulbs are cylindrical and spaced along the stems. Small white to pale pink flowers bloom from the nodes in loose clusters. Each flower is about 1-2 cm in size with thin petals and sepals. The labellum is three-lobed with fringed edges. This orchid grows on trees in tropical forests from India and throughout Southeast Asia. It requires high humidity and good drainage to thrive as an epiphyte.
