Cover photo info
- Photo title: American crow, Corvus brachyrhynchos, 8.
- Author: Peachpappa
- Cover photo description:
- The American crow, Corvus brachyrhynchos is found throughout North America and very similar to the Eurasian versions of the Hooded crow and Carrion crow. Because of these similarities, they can interbreed with each other, and with ravens. They are also monogamous, mating for life. They are very intelligent, showing an ability to make and use tools to get food. As with all Crows, they are omnivores, eating everything from grains and seeds, to insects, small rodents and frogs.
