Cover photo info
- Photo title: Strawberry Hill Golden Gate Park, 5.
- Author: Peachpappa
- Cover photo description:
- While San Francisco is famous for her hills, what has been forgotten is the fact that a lot of it was originally just sand dunes. This includes Golden Gate Park, which is entirely manmade over the sand. The highest part of the whole park, at 430 feet, is Strawberry Hill, an island in the middle of Stow Lake. Access to the park is made from both Roman Bridge and Rustic Bridge. Getting to the top is accomplished by either taking the road, in either direction, or one of several trails or stairs. Whichever way you decide to go, the views, either right infant of you, or of the lake and city below, are worth it. As seen March 2022.
