Cover photo info
- Photo title: Historic Old Sacramento California 30
- Author: Peachpappa
- Cover photo description:
- Sacramento California is neither the oldest city in the state, that designation belongs to San Diego; nor the original state capital, that designation belongs to Monterey. If that is not enough, three major rivers surround the city; Sacramento, American and San Joaquin. This has caused major flooding in the early days of the city, even after the capital was officially moved there. And then a major city wide fire. So the capital was even in San Francisco briefly, before returning to Sacramento, where it remains to this day. And, the first transit train in all of California was also in Sacramento. That is why it is historic. As seen 26 April 2022.
