Cover photo info
- Photo title: Old French Consulate Solari Building West San Francisco
- Author: Peachpappa
- Cover photo description:
- The Solari Building West was originally built for C. Lagauterie Company, a firm of fine French wines, which opened in 1852. In 1865, the French Consulate moved here from the adjacent Solari East, and for what this building is now best remembered. It is believed too, this may be the oldest building in what is now called the Jackson Square District. As seen 14 September 2022.
