- Cover photo description:
- This Italianate building with the cast iron front is very unique as very few are left at all, mainly in the Jackson Square area, was built in 1883 originally for the fire department Engine Company 13 and is now the oldest still standing fire house in San Francisco. Even though they converted from house drown to motorized trucks in 1917,they still remained in this building, until 1959 when it was sold and is now private property,so please be respectful. As seen 18 September 2023.
