- Cover photo description:
- Srebrna Góra is a small village in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, located on a pass that separates the mysterious Owl Mountains from the Bardzkie Mountains. Due to its strategic location, the largest mountain fortress in Europe, the Silver Mountain Fortress, was built here. It is worth going sightseeing, because today the Srebrna Góra Fortress is one of the greatest attractions of Lower Silesia. The village owes its name, as you can easily guess, to the silver deposits discovered in this area. Srebrna Góra received a city charter in 1536, but right after the war, in 1945, it was degraded. Due to its location and attractions, Srebrna Góra is also called the Pearl of the Owl Mountains.
