  • The Traian Bridge is a bridge in the municipality of Arad, built in the period 1910-1913. The bridge crosses the Mures River and provides the connection for both road traffic and trams between two districts of the city. Being part of the architectural heritage of the city, it is a symbol of it. At first glance, it looks like three suspension bridges one after the other. It's just an impression, due to the curved shapes of a classic Gerber hinged truss system. The total length of the bridge of 185.10 m covers the distance between the piers bordering the Mures River bed.
