Cover photo info
- Photo title: Red Fronted Lemur
- Author: Mcooper89
- Cover photo description:
- Lemurs live in the tree-tops, only occasionally coming down to the ground. Most lemurs are active during the day. When resting, they wrap their tails around themselves and their neighbours. When peering through the branches in the forests of Madagascar, the faces of lemurs appear ghostly; hence their name, meaning ‘ghost’. They move with ease through branches and twigs of the tree tops and are capable of leaping several metres to cross from one tree to another.
